Hello šŸ‘‹

I’m Zach. A Bay Area real estate agent, Oakland homeowner, investor, and creator of Living in the SF Bay Area on YouTube. I help people buy and sell homes in the East Bay and San Francisco, without the pressure.

I'm originally from Cincinnati, but I've been calling the Bay Area home since 2009. I live in the Oakland hills with my wife, our daughter, and our dog.

I got into real estate after buying my first home in Oakland. That experience hooked me. I loved the process of finding the right place, understanding the market, and making a smart investment. Since then, I've become a licensed agent, a real estate investor, and someone who genuinely enjoys helping people figure out their next move.

Before real estate, I built a career around teaching, coaching, and helping people through big transitions. I taught psychology classes at San Francisco State University, worked as a career coach helping over 250 people change careers, and earned a Master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. That background shaped how I work with clients today. I listen more than I talk. I ask better questions. And I focus on what you actually need, not what gets me to closing fastest.

I'm also a real estate investor. I buy and renovate fixer-upper properties, which means I can help you see potential where other buyers might not. Whether you're looking at a move-in-ready home or a property with upside, I can help you evaluate what it'll take and whether the numbers make sense.

I started my YouTube channel, Living in the SF Bay Area, because I love living here and I wanted to show people how much cool stuff the Bay Area has to offer. It also happens to be a great way to help people get a real feel for the neighborhoods before they visit or move here.

If you're thinking about buying, selling, or investing in the Bay Area, I'd love to help. No pitch, no pressure, just a real conversation about what you're looking for.
